Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about the application process, eligibility, or troubleshooting your device? See below!

Application

How do I apply for free internet?
You can apply by calling your SBCSC or School City of Mishawaka school or contact Citywide Classroom by calling (574) 703-1881 or by email at info@citywideclassroom.org.

I have just completed my application for free internet. What do I do now?
Your application will be reviewed for eligibility. If you qualify, your application will be processed and you will be given a mobile data hotspot service. You will receive a call from Citywide Classroom or your child’s school to notify you to pick up your mobile hotspot device. If you have any questions or concerns about your qualification for any of these services, contact Citywide Classroom by going to citywideclassroom.org/contact.

Eligibility

I do not know if my student qualifies for free or reduced price meal benefits. How do I find out?
You can contact your school's administration to check whether your student qualifies for free or reduced price meal benefits. If your student is enrolled with a SBCSC or School City of Mishawaka school, you can also contact Citywide Classroom by going to citywideclassroom.org/contact.

My student does not attend SBCSC schools. Would they still be eligible?
Only students attending SBCSC schools, School City of Mishawaka schools, or a participating non-public school would be eligible for Citywide Classroom programming. To see which non-public schools are participating, go to citywideclassroom.org/eligibility.

My student does not live within SBCSC district boundaries. Would they still be eligible?
Special cases may be made for students attending SBCSC schools, School City of Mishawaka schools, or other participating schools but do not live within district boundaries. For further questions, contact Citywide Classroom by going to citywideclassroom.org/contact.

Internet Services

My household has multiple students. Can I receive multiple hotspot devices?
